My mama wrote a letter to her Senator about the proposed bailout, and aforementioned Senator - one Mr. Bernie Sanders - entered it into the Congressional Record. There are several letters that he read, my mama is the "citizen from Springfield."

So, I missed the swimming last night because my stupid body demanded that I sleep since the largest chunk I'd had in the two nights previous was five hours. Yeargh. Ceci n'est pas un cow.
I'm off to the Cape for the weekend. Amazingly enough, while I've lived in New England for 90% of my life, I've never ever been to the Cape.
I'mma gonna sit on the beach. And read. Like a nerd. JOY.

We also noted the damage to what was the movie theatre, which was nothing short of depressing.
I had the most Vermont-y weekend ever in the IRV. I think N and I were able to summon the compressed, two-day, version of the Independent Republic's essence.
Saturday:- Went to the Agricultural Fair. Pet cows. A lot of cows. Also saw: piggies, ponies, peacocks, bunny-wabbits, chickens. I also pet a few ponies, but I didn't touch the chickens. ( Read more... )
